GLRI Collaborative Mapping Project

The Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) Collaborative Mapping project provides an open-source, online geospatial viewing system. This system catalogs and serves imagery data that can be accessed through in an online map, by direct download or through web services.

In addition, this project harvests and catalogs geospatial metadata from metadata catalogs in the Great Lakes basin to provide a place to review and compare available datasets. The goal of this project is the integration and distribution of habitat and imagery data in support of the larger GLRI Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.

Please note that the GLRI site does not have a data manager. This means that while the mapping and search tools do work, the data catalogs that are harvested for them may not be active.
