GLRI Collaborative Mapping Project

The Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) Collaborative Mapping project provides an open-source, online geospatial viewing system. This system catalogs and serves imagery data that can be accessed through in an online map, by direct download or through web services.

In addition, this project harvests and catalogs geospatial metadata from metadata catalogs in the Great Lakes basin to provide a place to review and compare available datasets. The goal of this project is the integration and distribution of habitat and imagery data in support of the larger GLRI Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.

This project was funded through September 2013 and hasn't been maintained since then. As of December 2016, the servers supporting the mapping, imagery and catalog tools have been retired. This page remains for historical interest only.
